I'll be parked infield with a blue Kia Spectra that has a cracked passenger mirror and a GSU sticker, in case any of you happen to be there too. But don't go out of your way to look for me, since it's not like we'd do much more than say hello. I'm just saying, I can't be the only Jalop heading there tomorrow.

And, like always, there will be pictures. Depending on how I feel when I get back, and when I leave to go back down to Statesboro, they'll be posted any time between tomorrow night and Monday afternoon. Also known as long enough that any of the highlights will probably be on the front page already, but whatever.

I would be there but I have to save my cash so I can make it to Daytona next year. Hopefully I'll land a decent job at some point so I can make it to both again.

That would be awesome! The PLM is the only major event I've been to. This will be my third time, actually, and also the second time I get in for free. :D My dad won two tickets in some Facebook contest. Last year I signed up to volunteer on Friday, but when I showed up they wouldn't let me do any work. (I was 17 when I signed up. Then NASCAR took over the series and changed the rules for volunteers making me too young, but still keeping me registered) So they just handed me my tickets and let me in for free. (another cool note: I went to the same window as the team/driver registration, and while we were trying to figure out what I could do, someone from Muscle Milk and a Matmut driver came by to sign in. I didn't talk to them, though. The Matmut Porsche was incidentally my favorite car there as far as looks go, but the driver didn't seem to speak very much English, or at least he was shy about it, so I didn't want to bother him.) Anyway, they gave me a two-day pass in order to get in on Friday, and a one-day pass for Saturday. So I got to bring a friend the next day, also for free. Pretty damn lucky.

A few years ago a couple of friends and I had some t-shirts made of our fav P1 team (RIP Intersport Racing). We showed them to the team during the autograph session and they gave us some of the tshirts the crew guys were wearing. Here's a pic of all of us with Jon and Clint Field before the race.
